The Demons overwhelmed Warrensville Heights by scoring 49 straight points in the first half!
Will Ostrowski got the Demons on the board first with a 5 yard TD run three minutes into the game. After the Demon defense held strong, led by Angel Jiminian, Arrington Taylor and Sam Prexta, Ostrowski took the punt 47 yards for another score.
The Demon defense once again held strong. The Demons got a 10 yard TD run from Arrington Taylor.
The Demon defense not to be outdone got a 45 yard interception return for a TD from Josh Bauer and at the end of the first quarter led 28-0.
Another Bauer interception and return, led to a Matthew Porcelli 3 yard run and a 35-0 Demon lead just seconds into the second quarter. Ostrowski tacked on a 23 yard TD run and Taylor got his second TD of the night with an 11 yard run.
Basheer Al Ramahi was perfect on all 7 extra points and the Demons led 49-0 at the half.
The team moves to 1-2 on the season and will host Parma next Friday night at UH St.Johns Stadium. It will be senior night for the boys and girls cross country, girls tennis and boys and girls golf teams before the game.
