The Eagles left Florida with a bad taste in their mouths as they saw a 49-yard field goal attempt miss in a 25-22 loss to Spruce Creek. RB Cam Wendell was a bright spot in the contest, scoring three times for Avon. It won’t get any easier this week as Avon welcomes in the Glenville Tarblooders (2-0), the top team in our Tenacious Twelve.
