The Eagles kicked off their campaign for a 10th straight Southwestern Conference crown with a 55-7 blowout of North Ridgeville. Blake Elder came out of the gate hot, turning three of his first five completions into touchdowns, and finished with 232 yards and five scores. Avon returns home this week when it hosts SWC rival Olmsted Falls (3-1).
