The Bulldogs faced a last-second scare, but were able to escape Hoover with a 21-20 victory. Sophomore Kyelin West ran for 101 yards and a touchdown, while Darius Hill provided a highlight reel-worthy 66-yard punt return for a score. McKinley can take another step towards a Federal League title Friday when it hosts Lake (6-1).
