Canton McKinley Bulldogs (6-2, Last Week: 35-21 @ Lake)

The Bulldogs come into the week ranked ninth in the Division I AP poll following a 35-21 win over the Blue Streaks. Quarterback Kam Montgomery led the way with a big game through the air, going 21-26 for 239 yards and three touchdowns. McKinley looks to clinch the Federal League title this Friday night when they host Massillon Jackson (5-3).

 

St. Edward Eagles (5-3, Last Week: 22-12 vs. Football North)

Head Coach Tom Lombardo got his 200th career victory and Zach Hackleman set the single-season school record for receiving yards in the Eagles’ 22-12 win. Hackleman finished with 11 catches for 141 yards and two touchdowns. This Friday night St. Edward will travel to Cincinnati to take on fellow Division I powerhouse Archbishop Moeller (7-1).

 

Wadsworth Grizzlies (8-0, Last Week: 49-23 @ Stow-Munroe Falls)

The Grizzlies continued to roll through the Suburban League with a 49-23 win over the Bulldogs. Junior running back Cooper Gray ran for 195 yards with four touchdowns and quarterback Brysen Hall threw for 246 yards and two scores. Wadsworth looks to take another step towards an undefeated season on Friday night when they host Solon (2-6).
