After falling to nationally ranked Boyle County (KY) a week before, the Eagles bounced back with a big 24-17 victory over Elder. Without starting running back Brandon White, Tyrese Buchanan stepped up and filled the lead back role with 161 yards and two touchdowns. Defensively, the Eagles defense lived in the backfield, racking up four sacks in the contest. Things don’t get any easier this week as St. Edward welcomes the Massillon Tigers (3-1) to First Federal Lakewood Stadium Friday night.
