Way Too Early Picks for Katie’s Season of the Bachelorette

This past Monday was the start of Season 17 of the Bachelorette! 

This season’s Bachelorette is Katie Thurston, who made a name for herself on Matt James’s season for being sex-positive and challenging the bullies of her season. Bachelor nation LOVED her, which made her to obvious choice for the bachelorette.

This season is full of new beginnings, as the franchise has decided to replace beloved host Chris Harrison with former bachelorettes Kaitlyn Bristowe and Tayshia Adams.

While I must admit that Chris Harrison is the OG face of the Bachelor franchise, and is somewhat irreplaceable, Tayshia and Kaitlyn were hilarious and fit the bill to a T!

I was laughing every time those two were on the screen, which begs the question…

Does Chris really need to come back?Anyways, as the night progressed, we got to meet all 30 of Katie’s men, and I have some wayyyy too early picks for who steals Katie’s heart and wins this season of the Bachelorette. 

FIRST IMPRESSION ROSE SPOILER AHEAD

The first guy, and the man I think is going to win the whole show, is Greg. 

Greg, a New Jersey native, is the obvious choice for winning it all because he was awarded the first impression rose. Historically, whoever gets the first impression rose makes it pretty far, and sometimes ends up winning!

When Greg stepped out of the limo and greeted Katie, Katie whispered that he looks like her ex-boyfriend. The jury is still out on whether that’s a good thing or a bad thing… 

However, Greg seems extremely down to earth and family oriented, he even brought Katie a noodle necklace that his 3 year old niece made for her! 

Overall, Katie seems to really like Greg, and he seems to make it far based on the preview for this season that was played at the end of the episode, so we’ll see!

The second man I think could make it to the final two is Connor B, aka: Cat guy.

Connor made a choice last night and dressed up like a cat night one to meet Katie, which actually ended up working out very well for him.

Apparently, Katie has an obsession with cats, and seemed infatuated with Connor when he stepped out of the limo, giving a double thumbs up to Kaitlyn and Tayshia as he walked away.

Connor is a math teacher from Nashville, and his quirkiness seems to work like a charm, so we’ll see if he claws his way to the top and steals Katie’s final rose.

The third guy I think has a solid shot with Katie is Justin. Justin is an artist from Baltimore, and definitely has a mysterious vibe about him that Katie seems to like. 

It seemed like Katie and Justin clicked right away, as they shared the first kiss of the season!

Justin is definitely a contender this season, and could be the dark horse that whisks Katie away with his charm and a paintbrush.

The last man I think has a shot of getting Katie’s final rose is Andrew. Andrew is from Chicago and plays professional football in Vienna, Austria.

Andrew had all of us laughing as he introduced himself with a British accent (that Katie knew was fake), and then went on to say that a British accent is a “big part of his personality” (red flag?)

But, Katie was impressed by the 1920s car Andrew pulled up in, and they seemed to have an instant connection through humor.

Some say that laughter is the way to a woman’s heart, so we’ll have to see if that’s really true.

So there you have it, my way too early picks for the final four of this season of the bachelorette, and who I think is going to be the winner.
