Walsh Jesuit QB Keller Moten Win’s Kee On Sports Player Of The Year Sponsored By Dimassa Endodontics

Congratulations to Walsh Jesuit quarterback Keller Moten for winning the Kee On Sports Player of the Year Award.  The young man had a terrific season as he led the Warriors to a 10-0 perfect record against some of the best competition in the state.

Moten passed for 1397 yards with 16 touchdowns, next to only 3 interceptions.  He also ran the ball 93 times for 1,028 yards and 17 touchdowns. These numbers could have been double this but 6 times he was pulled earlier as the games had entered running clocks and they didn’t want to pad his stats.  Their biggest win came in Week 8 against Hoban, with a thrilling 19-14 victory.

Moten is a leader on and off the field.  It is because of this work ethic and leadership that the Warriors earned the number 1 seed in Division II Region 5.  Moten and the Warriors open up playoff action this Friday night as they host Willoughby South.
