Valley Forge Shuts Out Garfield Hts

The Valley Forge Patriots hosted the Garfield Heights Bulldogs and won by a final score of 25-0 tonight. The 46-yard touchdown run by senior Darius Corbin was enough to start this victory off strong. Valley Forge came on strong tonight with two touchdowns thrown by junior quarterback Sean Frank.

 

Valley Forge continued to come on strong in the second quarter. Schillinger threw a complete pass to Wadsworth and scored a touchdown for the Patriots. With 9 minutes and 36 seconds remaining the score was 12-0 with the Patriots leading the way. The tacked on another touchdown in the third, to take a 18-0 lead into the fourth,

 

Ethan Anthony tacked on another touchdown for the Patriots in the fourth, to conclude the scoring on the night.  The Patriots will look to stay hot next versus Rocky River while Garfield looks to bounce back at University School.
