USASA Hall of Fame Welcomes Class of 2025

(Chicago, IL) — Accomplished contributors to adult soccer, Karon Beyer, Carlos Folino, and Andrew Marion,
will be inducted into the USASA Hall of Fame Class of 2025. The induction ceremony will take place in
Chicago, Illinois, on Friday, September 26, 2025, at the organization’s Annual General Meeting.
The three inductees are honored for their significant accomplishments and contributions to the sport of soccer
in the United States.

Karon Beyer
A trailblazer in adult soccer for nearly 40 years, Beyer co-founded the Cobb County Soccer Council in 1986 and
established key leagues including the Greater Atlanta Coed Soccer League and Greater Atlanta Women’s
Soccer Association. She also created the St. Nicholas Charity Tournament, raising over $100,000 in toys since
2010. Serving as USASA National Secretary (2018–2025) and President of the Georgia State Adult Soccer
Association (1997–2007), her leadership earned her recognition as Georgia Adult Soccer Volunteer of the Year
(1989, 2019) and a Life Membership with Georgia Soccer (2009).

Carlos Folino
A cornerstone of U.S. soccer officiating since 1985, Folino advanced from United States Soccer Federation
Referee to National Referee (1997), officiating high-level matches including Region II tournaments. He served
as Referee Liaison during the 1994 World Cup in Detroit and has been Michigan’s State Referee Administrator
since 2001, elevating referee training for amateur and professional leagues. Folino also served on the U.S.
Soccer Referee Committee (2010–2018) and USASA Referee Committee (2022–2025). His honors include the
Region II Pat Smith Referee Achievement Award (2010) and induction into the Michigan Soccer Association
Hall of Fame (2014).

Andrew Marion
Since 2001, Marion has been a driving force in South Carolina soccer, serving as South Carolina Adult Soccer
Association (SCASA) treasurer and transforming it into a 501(c)(3) registered organization. He has managed
the Apollo team since 1995, served on Columbia’s Central League board (2001–2018), and contributed to
multiple USASA national committees. His leadership was recognized with induction into the Central
League–SCASA Hall of Fame in 2024.
The USASA Hall of Fame, established in 2006, honors individuals who have significantly contributed to the
