The main event will feature a thrilling showdown where Mikey Musumeci will try to defend his bantamweight belt against Shay Montague. Ronaldo Junior will attempt to defend his middleweight title against Tarik Hopstock in an electric co-main event.
The always exciting Mikey Musumeci returns to The Bowl for the third time and aims to defend his Bantamweight title for the second time in UFC BJJ. Before joining UFC BJJ, Musumeci was the ONE Flyweight Submission Grappling World Champion and five-time IBJJF black belt World Champion. Musumeci is looking to continue his win streak in UFC BJJ and extend it to three wins in a row via submission.
2025 IBJJF World No-Gi Champion, Shay Montague, will make his promotional debut with a shot at the Bantamweight title. Montague also held the IBJJF brown belt roosterweight title in both Gi and No-Gi from 2022 to 2023. The Scottish black belt comes to The Bowl with high-level back-take sequences with impressive mobility and inversions. Montague is looking to secure his first win in UFC BJJ and take the title away from Musumeci.
Ronaldo Junior will return to The Bowl for the second time to defend his middleweight title for the first time. Before UFC BJJ, Junior was an IBJJF Pan Champion in both Gi and No-Gi in 2020, and an IBJJF World No-Gi Champion in 2023. He also competed in major events such as WNO, UFC Fight Pass Invitational, and Craig Jones Invitational. Rolando Junior is looking to defend his title with a submission in February.
Tarik Hopstock, who is the 2025 IBJJF World and European No-Gi Champion, looks to take the middleweight belt away from Rolando Junior in his UFC BJJ debut. Hopstock is aggressive when it comes to leg-lock entries and uses a technical approach when grappling. The Norwegian grappler invented his own submission, The Tarikoplata, which is a shoulder-lock variation that blends elements of an omoplata with a kimura. Hopstock is entering The Bowl with his sight set on Junior’s belt.
