He looked brilliant in a five-round war against Colby Covington in December. He is 16-1 and on a 15-fight winning streak. He is 11-0 in the UFC with wins over Demian Maia, Rafeal dos Anjos, Tyron Woodley and Colby Covington just to name a few. He can strike, grapple and has shown he can take a punch while not running out of gas.
Jorge Masvidal has flashy knockouts over Darren Till and Ben Askren along with a three-round war with Nate Diaz to put himself back on the MMA map. This 48 fight veteran of MMA, has never had a better chance to sneak up on a champion with short notice, and walk away with the gold then he does now.
