Prediction – Assuncao won his first 7 fights in the UFC, including wins over TJ Dillashaw and Bryan Caraway in that stretch. Since then he has gone 5-2 and has continued to look sharp to increase his UFC record to an impressive 12-2, and 27-6 overall in his MMA career.
He is dangerous on the ground, but as of late, has settled for decision victories. If he wants to make a statement and get back on main cards he needs a flashy win and I feel he will get one Saturday night against Sandhagen who has knockout power, but won’t land on Assuncao.
