Something is very wrong with the leg of Luke Rockhold and also the chin. He has now been knocked out in 3 of his last 4 fights and looks far from the guy who wore both UFC and Strikeforce gold. The move to light heavyweight was done to rejuvenate his career, but it is off to an awful start.
Blachowicz is trying to show everyone that he is more than a UFC afterthought and his best days are ahead of him.
At 24-8, this was easily this biggest win of his long career and it will be interesting to see where it goes from here.
I’m not sure how it would have changed anything, but Rockhold did get caught with a vicious head kick seconds after the bell in the first.
Much scorned referee Herb Dean who continues to make some bad calls as of late, claimed it was before the bell so nothing was done. Again, not sure how much it would have mattered on this night.
