Top 3 ‘KEE’ Position Battles to Look Out for This Browns Minicamp.

Cornerback:

If you watched Cleveland last year, then you’ll be able to tell that the secondary wasn’t anything to write home about. Denzel Ward, just like other years has been a lockdown corner, when he is on the field that is. Ward played 13 games and started 12, he’s not the only Browns corner to suffer injuries though. Greedy Williams missed all of the 2020 season with a tough shoulder injury. Both are looking to return healthy for this next season, but there’s also one addition to the secondary that’s bound to make an impact. Troy Hill, one of the best slot cornerbacks in the league coming from the Rams, which last year had the #1 pass defense in the league.

Let’s not rule out M.J. Stewart Jr. though, he saw significant play time near the end of the season, recording two interceptions and three passes defended. MJ has shown the ability to play, with even an interception in each of the last two games against the Steelers.

While there are still a few questions about if Williams and Ward will be able to stay healthy, the cornerback position has gotten some much needed depth.
