This is the time of year in which several teams ranked in the Top 25 tend to lose. Most times it is because they are starting to face their toughest competition of the season, and other times, they are just simply over ranked to begin with, and it shows. I thought it would be a fun time to list each Top 25 team to lose this past weekend in College Football. 8 teams that started the week in Top 25 lost, with 3 of those schools losing to unranked teams, and 1 losing to a lower ranked team.
Let’s take a look, shall we?
But before we do, here are some thoughts I would like to put out into the universe.
- Does anyone remember the mid 2010’s when Alabama and LSU would play, and the combined score would always be under 24 points. It never failed, every season the game was extremely boring, and all defense with a crazy final score like 9-6, or 14-7. Did you see the score from tonight’s game? Alabama won 42-28, what a difference from the normal production of the game. Also, I have to wonder how much longer Brian Kelley will continue to try and sell everyone on his fake southern accent. The guy isn’t fooling anyone.
- Can you imagine how great Ohio State would be if they had a good quarterback to go along with that defense and running game? Not to mention Marvin Harrison Jr?
- Speaking of the BIG 10, Drew Allar is the real deal and should be the Heisman favorite next year, if not this year!
- Also speaking of the BIG10, does anyone else wonder if Jim Harbaugh meets up with Connor Stalions, the staffer who stole signs for dinner? You know, kind of like Shooter McGavin and his crazed fan grabbing some Red Lobster together. Also, Michigan should be banned from the postseason for that, there is no way they aren’t behind the entire thing. I believe this has been going on with several people from the day Harbaugh arrived at Michigan.
- USC has lost 3 games already this year, but we’ll still have to listen to fans tell us why they deserve to be in the College Football Playoffs this year.
Okay, time to get off my soap box and post the chart you actually clicked on the article to read in the first place.
