15-11
Paige
While her run was cut short because of career ending injury. No one can deny the lasting impact Paige had in NXT and the WWE during her run. She was outspoken and a different kind of “Diva” for the times. With sex appeal and a tremendous in ring ability, Paige could have gone on to be one of the GOATS if not for injury.
Chyna
The 9th wonder of the world almost didn’t make this list. Despite her historic presence in the WWE, I feel as though them listing her in the Top 5 was a crime! I’m fine with top 15, but she had one run with the women’s Championship and it was very short. She also left the company and never did anything of note elsewhere. Again, her impact on the sport cannot be denied and that is why she is here.
Her time as Intercontinental Champion was also short. Memorable, but short. Don’t get me wrong, I loved Chyna and still enjoy watching her work from the 90’s on the Network.
Natayla
Nattie Neidhart is one of the most underrated women in company history. She is incredible in the ring, and perhaps one of the top 5 technical female wrestlers of all time. She is a second-generation star with a combination of beauty and skill. Her promo work has improved tremendously over the years and she has proven that the second-generation jinx doesn’t affect everyone. In fact, Charlotte, Tessa Blanchard and Nattie are some of the very best in the game today and that’s no accident.
Micki James
Speaking of underrated, Micki James fits that bill as well. She has been a staple of women’s wrestling since the early 2000’s as Alexis Laree in the indies. She has quietly put together an amazing, Hall of Fame career!
Had it not been for a near scandal with John Cena, she may have never left the WWE. It was TNA’s gain that she did however as she was excellent during her run there. Since returning to the WWE a few years back, they have really held her back and that is a shame. Still one of the best!
Sherri Martel
This one may shock people, but she every bit deserves this! She was fantastic in the ring, and then when you look at the men she managed out of it, it’s impossible not to put her here! She was the evil foil to the beloved Ms. Elizabeth. She managed The Macho Man, Ted Dibase, Shawn Michaels, Ric Flair and the Harlem Heat. Everyone of them, now in the Hall of Fame.
On top of that, she made you believe she was crazy! The crazy thing is now that I go back and watch her matches and moments managing on the Network, I realized how incredibly sexy she was too. Sherri had it all and should be honored as such!
