Top 10 ECW Performers Who Should Be In The WWE Hall Of Fame

Raven

Go back and study the Raven character in ECW, and it was pure genius.  From the promo’s to in ring work, Raven hit a homerun with everything.  As ECW marched towards its first PPV, Raven was the champion and for good reason.

He was the man the fans had to see lose.  His feud with Tommy Dreamer is one of the best storylines in wrestling history. From Scotty Flamingo and Jonny Polo to Raven in ECW, WCW and WWE, Mr. Levy needs his spot in the hall!

Paul Heyman

Eric Bischoff should already be in for his run with WCW.  Verne Gagne is already in for his promotion AWA.  Vince should be in for WWF and you already have Eddie Graham in for Florida Championship. Why not one of the greatest minds and most creative people to ever grace the business?

Even if you threw out his ECW days, I could make a strong argument based on his WWE resume alone.  I understand that up until WrestleMania is was still very active on TV, but that is no reason not to give this brain his due!

Joey Styles

He was the voice of the brand.  His voice was the only thing ECW needed for it’s first years of existence to speak to the fans of what was going on in the ring.  Can you think of a single other promotion that made it big with that philosophy?  I can’t!  Put the man in.

Gorilla Monsoon had Heenan.  Jesse the Body had Vince McMahon.  JR had the King and Tony Schiavone had Mike Tenay and Heenan.  Styles had his voice and charisma, nothing and no one else.  Put the man in!
