The Berea-Midpark football team defeated North Olmsted in a Southwestern Conference and Seniors’ Night game by a final score of 40-35 on the Tressel Field inside Finnie Stadium.
Before the game, BMHS honored all of the Fall Athletic seniors as well as the 13 football senior student-athletes.
Offensively, junior quarterback Luke Devins completed 20 of 24 passes for 348 yards and two touchdowns.
Senior running back Brandt Eckerfield led the ground attack as he rushed for a season high 118 yards on 19 carries, scoring three times on the night.
He also recorded six catches for 94 yards out of the backfield. Senior wide out Jon Lyons led the receiving corps with four catches for 84 yards and added a touchdown.
Senior defensive end Beau Bachie and junior linebacker Connor Reynolds led the defense with six tackles each. Bachie brought down North Olmsted Quarterback Anthony Guercio twice in the backfield, wither Reynolds recording the team’s third sack of the night.
