Berea-Midpark’s bats were at it once again on Tuesday, as the Titans scored early and often in a 14-4 five-inning victory over Avon Lake. Berea-Midpark improved to 4-1 on the season.Eight different players recorded hits for the Orange and Blue, led by the trio of Alisia Ortiz, Mia Strizak and Ally Williams. Ortiz (2-for-4), Strizak (2-for-2) and Williams (2-for-3) combined to go 6-for-9 while driving in nine runs.  Sam Peterkoski and Sam Smearman also had multi hit afternoons for the Titans.

Ortiz started and pitched two innings while striking out three and allowing just three hits. Mallory Herwerden finished off the game by not allowing a hit and striking out six in the final three innings.

The Titans will travel to Amherst Steele tomorrow with first pitch scheduled at 4:45 pm
