Tim Alexander Memorial: Rocky River Dominates Avon 10-2

ROCKY RIVER, OHIO – It was all Rocky River Pirates from start to finish as they put on a hockey clinic in a 10-2 route of the Avon Eagles.  The night cap topped off a day of blowouts on Day Two of the Tim Alexander Memorial tournamnent.

The win improved the Pirates record to 3-0 in the tournament on the weekend and they will now play Mentor, who is also 3-0 on the weekend Sunday afternoon at 12 for the Championship.

The Pirates have been on a tear with a 7-2 win last night over Olmsted Falls and a 9-1 win ealier today over Avon Lake.

The loss drops Avon to 1-2 on the weekend as they captured a win over Solon 7-0 earlier today but lost to Mentor 6-3 last night.

The Box score from todays blowout can be seen below in favor of Rocky River.
