It was all Mentor from start to finish in game 4 of 6 today on day two of the Tim Alexander Memorial Tournament. The Cardinals dominated early and often and skated away with a 9-0 win over Avon Lake.
The Cardinals, now 3-0 on the tournament, advance to tomorrows championship game against Rocky River at noon from Hamilton Ice Arena.
Madelyn Adamic was in goal for the Cardinals and stopped all 13 shots that came her way. Adamic was academic with her play in goal.
For the Cardinals, they had goals by Kyle Backston, Andrew McBride, Marco Toth, Tyler Velioniskis, Cameron Mocny, Jack O’Donnel, Luke Jeffery and Mitchell Elliot amongst others.
