The Top 10 Quarterbacks In Cleveland Browns History

  1. Mike Phipps

Phipps had been drafted third overall by The Miami Dolphins in the 1970 draft, and then would be traded soon after to Cleveland for All Pro Wideout Paul Warfield.  He started on and off for Cleveland over the course of 6 plus seasons and 88 games.  His record as a starter was 24-24-2 with only 40 touchdown passes but 7,700 yards. In 1972 he led the Browns to a playoff win over the San Diego Chargers.
