Think back to last March when you first heard the news that the Cleveland Browns had traded with the New York Giants to obtain Odell Beckham Jr. Do you remember how excited you were? It seems as though it was an instant ticket to the playoffs and the sky was the limit.
Baker Mayfield was coming off a great rookie season in which he broke several records, and the Browns had the man calling the plays, Freddie Kitchens, as their new head coach. Unlimited potential and excitement filled the air.
However, things don’t always work out as planned, do they? 13 weeks into the season OBJ only has 59 catches on 108 targets for 844 yards and 2 touchdowns. The yards aren’t too bad, but the lack of catches and touchdowns has everyone really concerned and disappointed.
Not exactly what fans expected when they sent away a starting safety in Jabril Peppers, a first round pick (17) and a pro bowl caliber linemen in Kevin Zeitler.
So, this begs the question to be asked, who’s fault is it? As well as, can it be salvaged? We have three options for you to choose from and we ask that you do so in the comment section on page four. Spoiler alert, none of the options are the medical team or the fans.
You are right in most of what u say. My problem with OBJ is me me me. He makes his own rules with when to show up and the uniforms garbage and he can catch a ball thrown to him. Now dose he really want out. Our coaching and line are terrible. Looking back we would have been better off with no trade. It led to the hype they fed us and sale of tickets. Not wins. Let it play out now. We have no choice. We dug our own hole. What i want to see OBJ DO IS DO FOR THE LEAST OF MY BROTHER ! Dose he care about people or just his pocket and stardum. If we could get what we gavefor him viatrade. Than do it. Make a stand. What a wasted year. I hope as a team it can be changed and next year will be our year. If not we have the same old clowns
Seems he is never happy don’t he have some game changing drops
It will be yet another year of changing players and coaching staff.
Let the team get a couple years of routine. Knowing the plays and eachothers style.
The great teams have longevity of the same players. Can’t put a bunch of new folks together expect them to play well.
