The Most Shocking Moments in Wrestling History

Ric Flair shows up with the WCW World Title Belt on WWF Television:

This was in the Summer of 1991, when it was still very taboo to mention any other wrestling company. It was unheard of!  Flair, who left WCW in a bitter dispute with President Jim Herd never sent back the belt.

He was World Champion at the time and because Herd would not send him back his $25,000 bond, Flair, kept the belt and started wearing it on WWF television upon his arrival in August of 1991.

The WWF would soon be sued and had to start video distorting the belt.  This however led to a chain of events that resulted in the Montreal Screwjob.
