Mankind gets thrown off the cell at the 1998 King of the Ring
There isn’t too much to this one other then it may have been the coolest spot, in wrestling history. Cage matches have always been gruesome but none can ever compare to what happened at that event. Mankind and The Undertaker were battling on top of the cage when The Undertaker tossed him off, crashing through the announce table.
Folks, there is nothing fake about that! It is a miracle he wasn’t hurt worse then losing a few teeth and breaking a rib.
One wrong fall, and he could have died. I can guarantee you, that will never happen again on purpose like it did that night. They’ve tried to replicate this several times with Shane McMahon, but it is clear that they have a hot air mattress set up, and cushion for his fall.
It is planned out ahead of time with Shane, this wasn’t. Unless a performer decides to go off script, this will never happen authentically like it did that night.
