by Tonight, I had the pleasure of watching, “The Iron Claw”, the Von Erich Family story. It was excellent, and I cannot say enough good things about it, however, like so many other times when it comes to Hollywood and a movie, “Inspired by a true story”, you can count on a few major inaccuracies. This film was no different as the film had at least 5 major head scratchers.
So, before you read this, let me just clarify again, this is a good movie, and I WOULD recommend you see it, however, if you’re a diehard like myself, you will be sure to notice these three things pretty quickly. The “Big Five” start on page two.
Very good review. I noticed all 5 points you discussed. Give Iron Claw another 90 minutes and the makers could have effectively told the Chris and Lance stories. Other points were embellished to build an compelling narrative.
Great point Brian! Like I said, I would watch it again I truly enjoyed it, but the wrestler stickler in me couldn’t resist pointing out a few things.
