It’s Lent once again and you know what that means, FISH SANDWICHES! It is a perfect storm as Friday nights call for non-meat meals and tends to be the busiest night of the week for Fast Food chains, lent or not, because people simply do not want to cook on Friday nights. Given the fact that most refrain from meat eating on Fridays during lent, and the wide variety of fast “joints” in town, the options are a plenty.
Before we get to the list of the Top Five Fast Food Fish Fixes, I think we can all agree that the fast-food fish sandwiches tend to taste the best with a clear soda such as Sprite or Starry Night. Thus, when you see the ads on TV, expect to see a clear soda along with them. As for the ones you get at a bar during lent called “Fish and Chips”, clearly, you need to get yourself an ice cold brewski for those ones!
