The Detroit Pistons have a promising future

Killian Hayes

Killian Hayes is another player who has a promising future, who had his rookie year cut short to only 26 games due to a torn right labrum. Hayes was drafted 7th overall out of Ratiopharm Ulm (Euro League) in the 2020 NBA Draft.

Hayes averaged 12.8 points per game, 6.2 assists per game and 2.3 rebounds per game at Ulm. During Hayes second season this past year he averaged 6.9 points per game, 3.2 rebounds per game and 4.2 assists per game which Pistons fans expected more from him going into his second season since he had such high expectations.

Many are looking to count Hayes out and saying his time in Detroit might be done due to the surplus of guards that they now have. That may not be the case, Killian Hayes has been working hard this off season and is not going to want to be counted out. Hayes has been working on his shooting for the most part, trying to get back to how he was in the Euro League having shooting splits of 45.5 from the field.
