We all know it is easy for a fan to look at the schedule for the Cleveland Browns each and every year and make a case for 10-12 wins each season. We also know, that since returning to the league in 1999, they have only won double digit games twice, 07 and 20. With that being said, this year appears to be a golden opportunity to do it again.
Albeit, none of us can forecast injuries, locker room issues, suspensions or lord knows what else. However, if Chubb, Watson and Cooper remain healthy for 17 games, and if David Bell gets more reps, and if Jerome Ford joins Chubb as the best one two backfield combination in the NFL, the Browns offense can be deadly.
The defense remains a question mark, but it can only improve upon last year and new Defensive Coordinator Jim Schwarz has a track record of success. With the incredible free agents signings and trades made to strengthen the defensive line, this unit should be vastly improved.
With all that being said, were going to play a game of best case scenario when we take a “fresh look” at the schedule. Here now, starting on page two is a strong case for the Cleveland Browns to win double digit games this season. Here is where I see the wins coming from.
