The Brunswick Blue Devils Destroy the Euclid Panthers 38-18!

4th quarter

Brunswick started the final quarter on the Euclid 47-yard line and almost scored on the first play, but it was nullified by a penalty. Even with the bad luck penalty, the Blue Devils did eventually find pay dirt with a 25-yard touchdown run by Dominic Bamm. Brunswick 38, Euclid 6 (30 point running clock now in effect). Euclid started their drive from their 42-yard line and effectively used only 1 play to score on a 58-yard run by running back Leroy Billups. Brunswick 38, Euclid 12 (clock back to regular running time).

The Blue Devils, receiving the ball with just over 8 minutes left in the game, inserted their backups in believing that this game was well in hands for them. The new group of Blue Devils could not do anything with their possession and ultimately punted the ball to Panthers. Euclid starting at their own 27-yard line, showed positive plays from their offense and moved the ball to Brunswick’s 4-yard line.

With 2:35 left in the game the Panthers were able to score on a 4-yard Billips run up the middle. Brunswick 38, Euclid 18. Brunswick started their final drive on their 20-yard line and kept it on the ground with their second string running backs to run the clock out and end the game. Brunswick 38, Euclid 18.
