The Brunswick Blue Devils Destroy the Euclid Panthers 38-18!

3rd quarter

Euclid started the second half with the ball on their own 40-yard line and made some impressive plays to move the ball to the Brunswick 21-yard line in 2 ½ minutes; but they were unable to captivate on this drive and turned the ball over on down with 9:28 left in the quarter.

The Blue Devils overcame a couple of early penalties to move the ball successfully up the field to the Panthers’ 3-yard line, where they were held to a field goal with 4:04 left in the quarter. Brunswick 31, Euclid 0 (30 point running clock now in effect).

The Panthers returned the kickoff to their own 42 yard and on the second play of the drive, they scored on a 58-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Deonte Rucker to wideout Jakobi Laster. Brunswick 31, Euclid 6 (clock back to regular running time).

Euclid, looking a little renewed, tried an onside kick but it was successfully recovered by Brunswick on their own 34-yard line. The Blue Devils, looking unbothered, used the remaining 1:12 to move their drive into Panthers’ territory.
