The Biggest Wins In The History Of The New Era Browns

2014 Week 9 24-3 win at Cincinnati on Thursday Night Football

Oh, what could have been? This blowout on the road of the Bengals gave the Browns the AFC North Divisional lead at 6-3. They had one more game until they got Josh Gordon back and the playoffs looked as though it would be a sure thing.

Gordon came back, ruined the team’s chemistry and didn’t do anything to help. Ray Farmer panicked forcing Mike Pettine to play Johnny Manziel and the rest is painful history. They finished 7-9 and completely blew their best shot at the playoffs.

2015 Week 5 33-30 win at Baltimore

Josh McCown threw for a team record 457 yards and two touchdowns in a thrilling overtime win in Baltimore. With Jonny Manziel fans breathing down his neck, McCown was not effected and had the biggest game of his career to improve the Browns record to 2-3. They would lose 10 of their last 11 and Jonny Manziel would never play again in the NFL.

2018 Week 3 21-17 win over the Jets on Thursday Night Football

The Browns sure do love playing on Thursday nights and last year was no different. This win broke the losing streak and anointed Baker Mayfield as the newest “franchise quarterback” in Cleveland.
