The Biggest Wins In The History Of The New Era Browns

2006 Week 4 24-21 at Oakland

The Browns came back from a 21-3 deficit to gain their second straight win in Oakland. Charlie Frye got red hot in the second half, launching 3 huge touchdown passes.

The Browns also stepped up not allowing the Raiders to score a single point in the second half. It was 30 minutes of dominance that brought the Browns their first win of the season.

2007 Week 8 33-30 over Seattle in overtime

This was just one magical win in an incredible season full of them! The Browns third straight win came in thrilling overtime fashion. The Browns went on a 21-6 second half run to lead 30-27 in the closing seconds before a 22-yard Josh Brown Field Goal sent it to overtime.

I’ve never heard the roar on the shore louder then it was that amazing fall day. Jamal Lewis, despite being held to only 37 yards, had four huge touchdowns. The win improved the Browns record to 5-3 and made them a legitimate contender.

As mentioned, this was just one of several big wins that saw them defeat Buffalo in a snowstorm. Comeback from 14-0 to beat the Rams in St. Louis and defeat the Ravens twice including once on a field goal from Phil Dawson that bounced in. Two painful losses to Pittsburgh and one horrific day in Cincy would keep them out of the playoffs however.
