SWC Week Four Power Rankings

#6 Ranked – Berea-Midpark (1-3)

Well, here is where things get very dicey.  It’s impossible once again to really gage this Titans team.  It seems to be the case going back several years now, about dropping close games and having a record that doesn’t reflect the true talent of the players and coaching alike.

Yet again this season, 2 of their 3 losses have been super tight and decided in the final moments of the game.  Had it not been for some failed extra point attempts week one, they could have beaten Ashland.  They held a lead on Amherst until deep into the fourth quarter as well.

Left-handed Junior Quarterback Luke Devins is only 14 starts into his career, but has already shown some very nice potential to do big things under the Jon Hunek quick strike attack.  With weapons like Devon Johnson, DeAngelo Borders, Jack Arnold and Aquan Bell, the Titans can still score punches in bunches if need be.  They need to find a way to start winning close games, perhaps this past weekend at Midview was a start.

Remaining Schedule – at Avon, home vs North Ridgeville
