Strongsville TGI Fridays Hits All Time Low In Customer Service

In the midst of BK rumors, the Strongsville location of TGI Fridays has been piling up the bad reviews in customer service as of late.  Amongst many complaints about service, food quality and prices, this does not spell good news for those who want the struggling location to stay open..

Here are just a few of the worst ones out there, as again, this location looks to stay out of financial peril in a chain that is suffering greatly right now.

I love their food but the service is not great. I decided to do curbside. I placed my order, which was difficult as the person I spoke to was hard to understand and didn’t seem to understand me. I rec’d notice it would be 30 minutes. OK. I arrived a little early and sat in the spot. 30 minutes passed. There was a sign to check in, but I never received a text, so I called the number and got the same lady. She said I would need to contact the restaurant directly as they were not in the states. What?

I decided to check email, even though I did not give them my email address, and there was a link that said “I’m here” I clicked it twice, and still no one came out. After finally talking to someone inside and asking where my food was, now 40 minutes of waiting, I was told they don’t come out until you click the link.
Not one employee noticed a car out there for over 30 minutes?

Not one person noticed the order had not been picked up, and since it was 20 minutes past, to look outside to see if a car was there?
After all your messages on the phone about great customer service, I think you fell short.

My wife and I have been coming to this location for years, and we’ve had a lot of memorable experiences at Fridays. This use to be my wife’s favorite place to go eat. The staff were very nice, and everything was very clean. The food was terrible, took forever to come out, her medium steak was raw. The pot stickers were only pot stickers in a previous life. Nothing was prepared fresh, it’s obvious everything is just warmed in a microwave like Applebee’s. We agreed after our experience we are never coming back. I felt sick after eating my meal. Also, the bill accumulating to $73 was a little astonishing. I would expect to pay closer to $40 for someone to re-heat food from a freezer and bring me two soft drinks. Don’t go here, there’s plenty of other good options close by. If you want a GREAT experience EVERYTIME go to Gran Fiesta in Strongsville, or blue habanero, or square 22, I don’t know what we were thinking going to Fridays. And I’m pretty sure the hostess was transitioning from a male to a female.

The $75 mistake –
To start our waitress was very nice & friendly. She accommodated my family of 5 great.
The quality of the food though was absurd, especially compared to past experiences here (under cooked salmon, over seasoned fries, over fried chicken strips hard as a rock, chicken & shrimp pasta missing the shrimp). All of our meals had something wrong with it.

We didn’t complain though because with a 5 yr old, 3yr old, & 10 month old you are kind of on borrowed time & also we will never return. Just want to warn future potential customers of our recent experience.

All in all $63 for 2 entrees & 2 kids meals was a brutal reminder that these restaurants will continue to lose more/more business if they keep lowering their standards.
I fully REGRET suggesting this restaurant especially with all the other options out there.
