Strongsville Red Lobster to Close Its Doors For Good

The Strongsville location of Red Lobster will now close it’s doors forever this coming weekend as their final day of business is August 31, 2024.

Court documents filed Thursday in U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Florida show Red Lobster is exercising its rights to leases at 23 locations. The chain plans to vacate the properties, including the Strongsville restaurant, by Aug. 31. The seafood chain filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in May and closed over 100 locations and now Red Lobster wants to also close the location at 17227 South Park Center in Strongsville.

Sadly, it is the same song and dance causing companies everywhere to close.  Minimum wage employees who should be making no more then $5-$7 an hour, are suddenly making $20, causing menu prices to go through the roof and people to stop coming. Companies cannot afford to be fully staffed because of the insane salary demands, and on and on we go.
