Steve Randall of the Stanton, Kentucky Little League has been playing, coaching and managing for many years.  It is a passion of his, in fact, this year he is a part of three teams. One of which, the Reds played in the 5-7 year old league and even reached the Championship Game this past Monday versus the Rangers.

Sadly, the Championship Game between the Rangers and Reds couldn’t be finished because of a melee that took place in the 5th inning of the game.

After a close call at the plate was disputed by Jimmy Smith of the Rangers, it led to Randall taking the field and a shouting match between the men that nearly became violent.  Shirts were ripped, and all out chaos ensued, cancelling the rest of the game.

The video and the issue has now gone viral and Steve Randall was willing to come on our show tonight and talk about what caused the mess.  He also issued an apology.
