Solon, Ohio- Spirit was in the air during Friday night’s Solon Comets 28-0 homecoming victory against the Bruinswick Blue Devils.
Solon’s Brian McQuaide sent the crowd to its feet in the first quarter by tacking the first touchdown of the game.
Quarterback Charlie Bubonics connected with McQuaide in the second quarter, with the extra point soaring to up the score 14-0. Burbonics’s crispy pass to Harley Barmen checked the third touchdown for the Comets.
EJ Taylor locked in the win for the home team with a touchdown in the fourth quarter after breaking through the Brunswick defense with swift steps to find the endzone.
Solon will travel to face the Mentor Cardinals next Friday. Brunswick will take on the Medina Battling Bees.
