Smackdown vs. Raw- Week of June 3rd

Round 4: Biggest Story Angle

Raw: Brock Lesnar’s Cash-in- Okay, this will be a long point. So, Brock was advertised to Cash-In on this show, but he ended up saying he is waiting until Friday after he had attacked Seth Rollins.

There are three huge problems with this. Firstly, the Money in the Bank holder has the right to cash-in whenever he wants, and even tease it. Historically, Money in the Bank holders have done this exact thing with no repercussions. Second, no one really believed Brock would cash-in then, but if you did, it would be infuriating for the promised match to not happen.

Finally, Brock had Seth already beaten down, to the point of being stretchered out. Fans already know that Brock doesn’t like to come to work, so why didn’t Brock just pin him and be done with it? He had the champion right where he wanted him, and for some reason didn’t pull the trigger. It made everyone involved in this look dumb.

Smackdown: Alexa Bliss is Back- There was a Moment of Bliss Segment on Smackdown, which revealed that later in the night Alexa, Charlotte, and Carmella would fight for a #1 Contender’s spot at Bayley’s Smackdown Women’s Title. In the end, Alexa Bliss won, which is surprising given the many injury reports lately.

Winner: Smackdown- The Brock thing was absolutely infuriating, and I am very excited to see Alexa Bliss come back to the ring.
