Shedeur Sanders Absolutely Awful in Cleveland Browns Debut

Shedeur Sanders checked into an NFL game for the first time in his career and promptly reminded everyone why he wasn’t drafted until the 5th round of the 2025 draft, by the worst franchise in sports history.  For reasons that will never be understood, fans had been clamoring to see Sanders gets some snaps in the Browns offense and we still have to wonder what the desire to see him play is?

Sanders checked into the game to start the third quarter with the Browns winning 16-10.  Now, to be fair, Dillion Gabriel was exactly lighting the world on fire either.  Gabriel has only gone 7 of 10 for 68 yards with the majority of the Browns point coming from their defense and run game.  In fact, the only touchdown was a pick six from Devin Bush as Gabriel averaged a measly 9.7 yards per completion.

Regardless, Sanders checked in with the leads and promptly does what he does best, take sacks and attempt risky passes.  The Browns went scoreless in the second half on their way to a 23-16 defeat as the Ravens outscored them 13-0 after Sanders checked in.

The final stat line of Sanders was 4 of 16 for 47 yards while taking 2 sacks and throwing a pick.  Pure awful!
