Several Factions to Split for Good at WWE Draft

Damage Control

Splitting

Why – Well, this one should be obvious.  This spells bad news for Dakota Kai who is most likely on her way out again.  For Io Shari, hopefully this is a sign she gets the main roster singles run she deserves.  For those of you who remember her from NXT, you realize just how incredible she is bell to bell.  With Asuka wanting out, it is time for Io Shari.

What does this mean for Bayley?  I truly don’t know and at the risk of upsetting “smart marks” aka, DORKS living at home in sweat pants with potato chip crumbs all over them , jobless with their parents, I don’t want to speculate either. Some have said she will turn face, but I simply don’t see that either.

Top Dolla

Split

Why – If they were going to make it as a faction, it would have had to stay on NXT with Swerve Strickland in the bunch.  The second he left for AEW and they were fired from Smackdown the first time, that was it. No momentum has ever been recovered and they have zero interest left in them.  They badly need a split to have any relevance.

Street Profits

Stay a team

Why – As much as Montez Ford holds every breakout superstar quality and badly needs a singles push, last weeks result of the Street Profits losing to Owens & Zayn, actually forecasts a heel turn, and them staying together to feud with the champs.  The fans don’t want this, but again, WWE has made it known they don’t care what the fans “want”.

Omega Academy

Split

Reason – Chad Gable is one of the best pound for pounds grapplers in the word, and it is time to make him less of a comedy act, and more so the beast we know he can be.  Let him go at and start tackling giants one a time.  Meanwhile, Otis will be shipped off to the Maxim Models on Smackdown for the next year to flounder away his incredible talent some more.

Maxim Models

Stay

Reason – See above, as they will be getting a new member full time very soon.

The New Day

Split

Reason – It’s time, it’s just time already……

The Bloodline

Stay

Reason – They can tease Main Event Jey Uso splitting all they want, but it is a giant mistake if they break up one of the greatest factions in WWE history.  It is a constant storyline that can always have twists and turns, you split them up and it is over just like that.  Why would you do that?

Brawling Brutes

Split and Stay

Reason – Ridge stays with Sheamus, Butch leaves and reverts back to Pete Dunne on his own.

Judgment Day

Stay

Reason – They are just too damn good to split.  The only possible issue is the incredible popularity of Rha Ripley not fitting in.  But I don’t even see that being a problem.  I can see a jump from RAW to Smackdown for the men and Ripley switching to RAW while Bianca Belair comes to Smackdown, but that is it.

Imperium & Gunther

Stay

Reason – Imperium is do for a run at the Tag Title now that they are held by babyfaces, also, Gunther is one of the best “Gimmicks” on the roster. Again, same theory I had with the Bloodline to an extent, why break up a good thing.  It just wouldn’t make any sense.

Chase U

Split

Reason – Chase Hudson and several others are headed for the main roster soon.  No need to keep this around much longer, it has run its course.

Schism

Split

Reason – The Grizzled Young Veterans requested their release.  They lost in a dark match and didn’t even make the main card of the NXT Stand and Deliver Show, they are done.
