Triple H made the announcement last night on WWE Smackdown that sweeping changes are coming to the WWE via the annual WWE Draft. This has been a concept that the WWE has used since 2002 with the initial brand split to change things up a bit when the product becomes stale. Right now, it is as stagnant as it has been in years with post WrestleMania RAW’s and Smackdowns that were both absolutely horrendous, and if they are relying on Matt Riddle to turn things around, they are out of their minds.
Does the brand split and draft mean each show will once again have General Managers? Does it mean that each show will have completely different creative teams like it did in the early to mid-2000’s? Does it mean each show will have it’s own World Champion?
The answers to those questions will once again rely on how much control Vince McMahon wants, or how much he is willing to give HHH, Bruce Pritchard, Michael Hayes and the rumored return of Stephanie McMahon once again, into the fold.
While all those questions will decide if fans remain put, or begin to drift away completely from the WWE, somethings seem easier to predict then others. Over the next several pages we have several teams and factions listed and if the WWE Draft will break them up, or keep them together, also when and if they do, what effect will that have.
Enjoy the list on page two of who is staying put as a team, and who is splitting.
