With Wheeler Yuta and Bryan Danielson fully out of the BCC in AEW, fans have been clamoring to find out who the next, “big name” Jon Moxley plans on bringing into the faction. While many believe it is a former WWE guy, or current AEW roster member such as Wardlow, the smart money is on the recently signed and yet to debut Sami Callihan. The two have a long history together dating back to when they tagged together on the indies, calling themselves “Switchblade”. Also, other fans will recall that shortly after his debut, Callihan became a member of “The Crew” faction, which also consisted of Jon Moxley, Dick Rick and Pepper Parks in HWA.
While it is disheartening that Tony Khan is signing someone else to fill a role a current but underutilized roster member could fill, Callihan is popular and AEW fans seem to love former TNA and Indie guys, with Callihan filling both those roles. We shall see tonight if he debuts on the special Tuesday Night edition of Dynamite.
