One phrase will forever immortalize this show, “Spin the Wheel, Make the Deal!” WCW loved their hokey gimmick style matches, and this sure was one of them. Jake The Snake Roberts challenged Sting in a “Coal Miner’s Glove Match”.
It was the biggest match of Roberts very short run with WCW. Elsewhere on the card, Ron Simmons made one of his few successful title defenses during a short jaunt with the WCW World Title over the newly minted Barbarian.
