Ranking The Top 20 Pro Wrestlers Of All Time

5 Stone Cold Steve Austin

Steve Austin saved the WWE in 1997.  They were going under until Austin Mania set the world a blaze.  He was on a meteoric rise that never calmed down.  He lit the fuse as the 1996 WWF King of the Ring and never looked back.

Th iconic sound of his glass shattering still pops crowds to this day. He is the reason that Monday Night Raw took control back from WCW and eventually put WCW away for good.  The greatest RAWs of all time had Stone Cold Steve Austin closing the show.

Only Steve Austin can take the dorky, unathletic Vince McMahon and proceed to have one of the greatest feuds of all time.  He is the only man to win the Royal Rumble three times.

He won the WWE world title six times.  He headlined 4 WrestleManias, including 3 with The Rock and his match with Bret Hart at WrestleMania 13 stole the show.

All of that came nearly 10 years into his career.  He was excellent in WCW as a tag partner of Brian Pillman a well as a key member of the Dangerous Alliance years before he even showed up in the WWF.

If there is a Mount Rushmore of wrestling, Stone Cold is the first face being carved onto that mountain!
