Ranking The Remaining 8 Bachelors

After tonights episode of The Bachelorette we are down to 8 contestants left.  I’m going to keep it short and simple this week, here is how I have them ranked from 8^th to 1rst with chances to win. 8^th being the long shot and 1rst being the favorite.

8^th – Clayton

Reason – Despite the fact he got the group date rose tonight, he hasn’t had much one-on-one time with Michelle.  I do see him getting to the top 3, but rumor has it he is the next Bachelor, so that pretty much makes his win impossible.

7^th – Olu

Reason – I’m just not seeing it with Olu.  I wish I could expound further but I just can’t.  Call it a gut feeling but I don’t see any romantic chemistry there.

6^th – Rodney

Reason – As a life long underdog myself, I have to root for Rodney.  How couldn’t you?  He is just easy to like and is comfortable in his own skin. He is the kind of guy you want as your friend, but I don’t think Michelle sees him as much more than that.

5^th – Martin

Reason – He has been quiet until tonight when he said what he actually thought.  I’m not sure if I’m totally cool with how he went about it, but he got something off his chest and that took a bit of courage too whether you agree with him or not. He didn’t play it safe, but that gamble will get him top five.

4^th – Rick

Reason – From sitting underneath a table for hours, to advancing to the hometown episodes.  I see this for Ricks future.  He has taken calculated risks and they appear to paying off. He is also romantic without trying to be, it comes natural for him and they have a spark.  Michelle doesn’t seem “gaga” over him like she is the top 3, but I wouldn’t count him out just yet.

3^rd – Nayte

Reason – I REALLY don’t like this guy.  He comes across as a narcist bully, but he is doing it in such a professional way no one else sees it. He is the kind of guy other guys don’t like.

He is cocky and just a bit arrogant.  Michelle said she is falling in love for him, but I just cannot take him seriously. To me, he is treating this as a game and simply comes across arrogant.  Call it a hunch, but there is something about this guy I just cannot shake.  Watch for him to do something odd over the next few weeks.

2^nd –  Brandon

Reason – The only thing stopping him is youth.  Michelle has been humoring him with a little bit of attention each episode.  He seems head over heels, and if the cards fall right, I can see Brandon getting to the finale, but also getting his heart broke. There’s going to be tears, lot’s of tears when he goes.  Like I said with Rodney, he is the kind of guy you grab a beer and watch the game with.  He just seems very genuine and a good person.

1 – Joe

Reason – Winner Winner, chicken dinner!  Finding love in your own backyard, seems too good to be true.  The only thing is that each year there is a guy who you think is a sure thing, who suddenly leaves the show and you never see it coming.  Is that Joe?
