Ranking all 35 WrestleMania’s From Worst To First

WM 2 – It was cool to see the show take place from three distinct venues. Hogan vs Bundy in the cage was a fun main event and a symbol of the times. Some feel 12 matches was too many, but I actually enjoyed it despite the New York portion of the card being hard to stomach at times.

All in all, the Battle Royal with NFL players along with The Bulldogs vs The Dream Team classic, made Chicago the best portion of this card.

WrestleMania XXXV – After a hot start with Rollins over Lesnar for the title, the show went downhill from there. It never gained serious momentum and went on for nearly 8 hours. That’s a work day, not the show of shows.

XM X – Two matches really stand out from this card. Owen Hart vs Bret Hart to open the show. Also, the IC Ladder match between Razon Ramon and Shawn Michaels. Both excellent and two of the very best in WrestleMania history.

It was also fun to see Bret Hart win the championship to close the show as other wrestlers hoisted the Hitman on their shoulders in celebration. This was also the last PPV match for Macho Man Randy Savage.

WM XI – The Diesel vs Shawn Michaels World Title Match is one of the greatest ever in WrestleMania history. This card was also star heavy with Pamela Anderson, Lawrence Taylor, Jenny McCarthy, Nicholas Torturo , and several other Hollywood stars.

Sadly, the Diesel vs Shawn Michaels encounter is the only one worthy of going back to watch. But it was good enough to warrant this high of a ranking. Easily the greatest match of Diesels career.

WM 24 – I don’t know, this was a tough one to judge as some matches were solid, and others were disappointing. Once again Randy Orton showed us why he should never be near a main event alongside John Cena and HHH. CM Punk had his coming out party by winning the MITB ladder match.

The Ric Flair retirement match against Shawn Michaels was an instant classic and very emotional. The Big Show vs Floyd Mayweather was a guilty pleasure.

WM IX – Fans love to bag on this WrestleMania for the hokey ending of Hulk Hogan winning the title and Bret Hart getting ripped off. But those same fans forget the Hall Of Famers sitting at ringside calling the action.

The announce team that night was Jim Ross, Macho Man and Bobby Heenan. They were great together. Mix that in with excellent matches such as Tatanka vs Shawn Michaels.

Also, The Headshrinkers vs The Steiner Brothers. Mr. Perfect vs Lex Luger was also good. The card itself featured 15 current Hall of Famers. You would also think men such as The Steiner Brothers, The Undertaker and Lex Luger will end up in the hall as well.

Again, boys and girls, go back and watch this card, it wasn’t nearly as people try to make it out to be.
