The North Ridgeville Lady Rangers have been “unpredictable” this season to say the least. But with any stick of dynamite, when it goes off, watch out! It went off last night in Berea-Midpark to the tune of a 58-23 victory over the Titans.
The Rangers shot 11 of 26 from beyond the arc for a blitzing 42% the Titans couldn’t contend with. Maddy Rosado led them with 19 points, including 9 of those points from beyond the arc. Grace Kingery was right behind her with 18 points, including 4 from beyond the arc that has her within striking distance of the school record. Also launching made three balls was Daylan Baker who finished with 5 points while Brooke Lime, Cayla Holman and Brynnley Kerr all had 1 three pointer each as well.
The Rangers raced out to a 12- 3 lead after one and never looked back. They extended the lead to 31-12 at the half. Jenna Bycznski paced the Titans with all 9 of her points coming in the first half. It was clear that the long layoff may have hurt the Titans as they just couldn’t get much going.
A 15-8 third quarter in favor of the Rangers would put it away for good.
