The North Ridgeville Rangers were down 3 key members of their rotation coming into tonights game. Their two top scorers never scored in the fourth quarter, and they only had 2 players score in double digits, and they still won 69-23 in dominant fashion. Allow me to explain…….
Daylan Baker had the game of her life with 29 points tonight helping the Rangers topple the Elyria Pioneers. Baker scored from everywhere on the court as she had 10 field goals, 3 from beyond on the arc and then added in 4 more points from the line.
Grace Kingery had herself a night folks, the sharp shooting sophomore went off yet again from three-point land as she sunk 7 from beyond on the arc on her way to a masterful 28-point performance. Kingery is now the record holder for most three pointers in a single game.
The reason neither one of them scored in the fourth quarter is neither one of them had to play. The Rangers had the game wrapped up with a commanding 64-18 lead at the time. That is 46 points and good enough for a running clock.
What a night for the Rangers as they head into Christmas.
